In my portfolio, I proudly present a cutting-edge machine designed to transform any user-provided input into an exact drawing. This innovation is powered by Arduino IDE and programmed with C++, showcasing my proficiency in robotics and programming. The robotic system features three stepper motors controlling its axes, facilitated by a belt pulley mechanism with adjustable tension. The entire system is meticulously 3D printed, ensuring ease of replication.
One of the project's notable challenges was the integration of multiple sensors working seamlessly together. A force sensor was strategically incorporated into the writing arm to maintain a constant pressure on the pen, ensuring precise and consistent drawings. A servo motor was ingeniously employed to securely clamp the pen in place during operation. To enhance the system's accuracy and reliability, limit switches were integrated to reset the machine's position.
A noteworthy aspect of the project involved intricate calculations to determine equilibrium positions, preventing any unintended tipping of the pen. This comprehensive approach demonstrates not only my technical skills in robotics but also my ability to tackle complex challenges in designing a fully functional and replicable automated drawing machine.
